Exactly Stino, we could do much better than Advocaat. I was watching the Czech-Netherlands game in 2004 and i was fuming (as were the crowd). He’s pretty much outright hated in many circles in the Netherlands… my whole family has hated him since the 2004 Euro lol. Anyway, i hope that the FFA apoint another Dutch coach, that way we can at least minimise the problems associated with the transition period a little and the team will stick with the same stytle of play (which i love!). I would HATE for Klinsman to be coach… HATE it! lol

Advocaat’s status as a money-obsessed Dick has been know in the Netherlands for a while. This whole Australian manager saga doesn’t surprise me at all. There have been plenty of cases in which he has made a choice purely for financial reasons. For what other reason would one go to St. Petersburg, for instance?
But no worries Australia, because he is an awful manager anyway. There has been sufficient evidence for that as well. The most famous example being the game against Czech Republbic as Holland manager at Euro 2004, when he substituted then man-of-the-match Robben for a holding mid-fielder (and average player) Bosvelt to defend a 2-0 lead. Holland lost the game 2-3.
