Culina may have helped the score a bit - but a win is a win. http://www.soccershop.com

Yeah, I the momentum on the whole Craig Moore thing is finished. In retrospect he did retire when he should have. Good on ya' Moorie. Besides with picks like third-tier Chris Coyne working out we don't need him.

I'd actually had made a similar observation of kennedy v the dutch about his inability to keep the ball. That is something he should work to develop, his technique on the ball. His a brilliant option for us with his ability to convert chances in the air. Coyne who i think is currently can't even get into the Colchester side has stepped up very well at NT level. With North (albeit his form for club is worrying), Coyne, Neill, Milligan and the very promising Spiranovic available, the centre of defence isnt looking as worrying part of the team it has been for some years now. Beauchamp has struggled to really step up at NT level, he looks very slow indeed. Neill's best position is centre back (disguises his lack of pace) i think he passes the ball well. Unfortunately at full back especially in the PL if the winger has a bit of pace his in trouble.

Good to see chippers back. I think Carney should be in this team though, perhaps in midfield. His dribbling abilities is a big asset when breaking teams down. Wilkshire has delivered two perfect crosses when given the chance. There is no doubt he will be an important feature for Aus in the future. I still think Holman lacks that final bit of polish in the game. He works hard dribbles quite well but as i said lacks the final bit of class/product.

With Culina and Grella out another option for Pim in the centre of midfield could have been Emerton. He played very well in the centre of midfield for 45 mins v West Ham i thought. If not for a great save from Green he would have got on the score sheet after making a great run into the box.
