Argentina Friendly

Tomorrow marks our first hit out since the disappointing Asian Cup campaign. We will be up against the number two team in the world, who will be at full strength. I can’t wait for the likes of Messi, Tevez and Saviola to strut their stuff and play some beautiful, stylish football. I’d rather Argentina show off their skills, and us lose, rather than them play crap and we win. We are slightly understrength, but I think we can put up a good fight. Argentina will win 2-1. This will be Skoko’s last match, hopefully it’ll be one we all remember.

Bresciano was desperately unlucky not to score with his free kick. Any time you hit the crossbar and the ‘keeper twice you figure the ball HAS to go in the back of the net. That would have made the game even more interesting. Good showing by the Socceroos. Seems like most recent meetings between these two teams ends in a single goal.
