Thanks for the comment, Ayl. And no, I'm brand new; I was only a reader until now.

Obviously we're agreed. It doesn't sound like the FFA are going to change anything, though - according to this post we all put too much pressure on the team and Arnold is staying out the length of his contract.

Welcome Caleb, i'm pretty much new to this Aussie blog too, or were you a contributor before becoming a member of the team?

Nice post. I agree with you on almost every point. I too was very dissapointed with Australia's performance against Serbia and Argentina especially. We lacked attacking direction and it seemed as though nobody was willing to chance it alone bar Carney (at times). I felt that we were far too timid in attack. The Serbs are a rather defensive, counter attacking team and i think that we should have attacked from early on. 5 defenders is a bit much. We really needed the extra man going foward to create chances and man on man situations. The Serbs shut us down far too easily.

Against Serbia i expected the team to be a little timid, but we still should have pushed harder for an equaliser. Solid performances by many players (as you've mentioned), but i agree that our management needs to be reviewed. Now.
