Lazaridis Joins Perth

July 5th, 2006 | By: Matt | 5 Comments »

Stan Lazaridis has finally joined A-League club Perth Glory amid speculation he would leave England and return back home. With Adelaide having also being interested in his services, Perth have managed to snap up the former Birmingham City player. Having recovered from injury which kept him on the sidelines for a large part of the Premier League season, he will now be fully fit and ready to go when the new season gets started in about 7 weeks time.

I think he still has something to contribute. He would have got another contract in England had he stayed so its not as if Perth are getting Brian Deane round 2.

I can’t be bothered with anything recently. Maybe tomorrow. I’ve just been sitting around waiting for something to happen. What can I say? My life’s been pretty unremarkable lately. Whatever. Please visite my site:)
