In a game which opened with freak stoppages to avoid injury to a small black-and-white bird which decided to stroll into the path of a pass by Lucas Neill, the Socceroos have done enough to earn 3 points at the start of our final World Cup Qualifying stage.

Well, I almost didn’t believe it, but here we are. We beat the Dutch for the first time in our history.
