High expectations for Asia Cup
June 23rd, 2007 | By: Rayed Mamun | No Comments »
We have high expectations for the upcoming tournament and why not? A year after that dramatic draw against Croatia in Stuttgart, we are now considered to be respectable opponents, and the benchmark of Asian football. Graham Arnold has said anything less than a place in the finalof the upcoming Asian Cup would be a failure . Harry Kewell has gone even further and said anything less than victory will be a failure. I’m actually getting a bit scared from the prospect of being favourites, but I believe the motivation there from the players and they will deliver.
