Vanishing Viduka
February 13th, 2006 | By: WC Bob | No Comments »
While Mark Viduka has played like a donkey for Middlesbrough recently, John Aloisi has scored in five straight games for Alaves. If this form continues, the man who captained Austalia in qualifying could be on the bench come Germany. I would welcome this move because Viduka has always been a streaky player. When he is on, he is a top notch goal scorer. When he is off, he might as well be strolling through the desert on a walkabout. Aloisi is a more complete player. I hope he ends up being part of Hiddink’s starting 11.
