Socceroos to Go Greek, Dutch
March 3rd, 2006 | By: WC Bob | No Comments »
The preparation macthes for the World Cup are beginning to take shape for Australia. The Socceroos face Greece in Melbourne on May 25 and the Netherlands on June 4 in Rotterdam. A final friendly will take place on June 7 with both Luxembourg and Lichtenstein in the running as possible opponents.
I like what I am seeing here. There will be a big home send off against a good Greece team before playing an even better Dutch side. The final match will be against a minnow and will give the boys an opportunity to find the back of the net. Can’t fault this type of scheduling at all.
