I’d love to say a win, but for some reason I think we’ll get our win against Croatia, draw against Brazil and a loss against Japan.

I hope that’s enough to put us through.

P.s I also hope i’m wrong…Let’s get a WIN tonight lads! (our first of 7)

But if we lose to Japan then take heart, it just means Guus is cleverly following Google’s group F prediction… and we’ll beat Brazil instead!

Australia 2 Japan 0.

My group prediction is for Australia to get at least a 2 goal margin and if Croatia win v Brazil than the red/white checkers and the green and gold are in the second round.

If Australia lose this match than it will be all over. Sorry to say.

Not being a gambler, I have developed a staggering ability of late to pick games. At work, about two weeks ago, I said to my mate Gus that we’d beat Japan 3-1. He, without telling me, went and put $50 on that result. Watching the game with him and some other mates at the pub last night….I was thinking “I might have botched this one” but Gus just keeps smiling and reassuring the lads “Don’t worry, Az has picked it! 3-1 boys!”.

Sure enough, after minute 84, Aussie joy! I thought about taking up gambling but then I wouldn’t be objective anymore. There are rewards though…

Guess who’s getting a carton and a season pass to the A-league? Come on Aussie.
