Red vs Blue, Red wins
March 26th, 2006 | By: Matt | No Comments »
Two of Australia’s key players were on show last night during the local Merseyside derby in the English Premier League. These two being Harry Kewell for Liverpool and Tim Cahill for Everton.
From what I saw of the match, both were highly involved, with Cahill heading in a goal for Everton, and Harry Kewell sealing the match 3-1 for Liverpool with a pearler of a goal.
With Cahill scoring every other week for his club, and Kewell finding the net a few times in recent weeks and seemingly hitting the form of the old Kewell of Leeds we were used to seeing, the timing couldn’t be better with the World Cup just around the corner.
