Possible Squad against Greece
Righteo. The game against Greece is tomorrow and personally I am pumped. I thought I would try and pick the squad for the game considering all the injuries to key players.
Here is my possible squad to face Greece
Schwarzer, Neill, Moore, Popovic, Chipperfield, Emerton, Culina, Grella, Skoko, Bresciano, Viduka
Thoughts?

defintely most likely squad however, i’d love to see archie thompson get a start in front of the melbourne crowd. His pace and skill will definitely have the greeks shaking. I’d love to see hiddink play 3 at the back, put chipper left mid n play bresciano in behind archie and dukes. that would b a great side and one which would should be tried in the world cup (with kewell and cahill included)

Yeah the Victory supporters will go off if Archie plays. He will almost certain come on at some stage but whether he starts is another story.

Ive just found out Sterjovski is very likely to start tomorrow. Hiddink has been using him in training and he will likely be used to fill in Kewell’s usual spot.

I hope Hiddink lets Thompson or Aloisi start. Viduka is a has-been. We need to give Thompson or Aloisi a chance.

I dont think Australia has the depth to be a real chance tonight, or at the world cup. Look, if we can keep our best eleven fit, with Kewell, Cahill, Viduka, Aloisi, and Bresciano, then we are a strong chance. But, take out Kewell, Cahill and Aloisi and we are no chance. Look and the replacements; Sterjovski is crap, he couldnt play his way out of a paper bag! And apart from goalshy Viduka, who else can score a goal apart from Bresciano?
Greece have a great defence, but without key attacking players like Kewell and Aloisi, Australia will not score a goal. I predict a dull game tonight, finishing in a 0-0 draw.
Without Kewell & Aloisi Australia will not make it out of their group at the world cup, and they wont score a goal either.
But with no injuries the sky is the limit!
