Overnight, Japan held an understrength Germany to a 2-2 draw. Takahara scoring the goals for Japan, with Nakata causing alot of the problems for Germany from midfield.
Also, Brazil deafeated Swiss second division side Lucernce, 8-0.

Unfortunately, I don’t think that Brazil vs Lucernce game tells us anything new. We know Brazil is pure class. It just re-emphasised that a little.

I think it should be interesting to see how NZ cope with Brazil. NZ will take a hard approach and will try not to give the Brazilians any room. (Although we know this won’t be very succesfull)

But i think we will see only a 2-3 goal margin. Should be interesting to watch though. The Aussies may pick up a few things from that game.
