Opening Old Wounds
I don’t think this sort of thing is necessary leading up to a World Cup, especially from someone within the squad. Anyway, someone moron has come out and said that Kewell was “pissed off” about being on the bench against Uruguay, and that he wanted, and will want to start in Germany.
Why would someone come out and say that, let alone one of his team mates. A bit stupid I think, especially considering the fact that Kewell could quite well be put on the bench if Hiddink doesn’t think he is completely ready in time, especially when we play Japan.
Whoops… someone wasn’t paying attention during Public Relations 101. Probably Neill.
Actually, I don’t think this is too bad. Guus probably knows how Kewell felt about being on the bench. He’s a great psychologist who keeps the team on its toes by marshalling the player’s emotions (even anger) for a good result.

Harry Kewell puts up with a lot. He has to be tough after putting up with the British press in Liverpool during his injury crisis last year. The Aussies need to stop questioning Kewells attitude and start supporting one of the most natrualy gifted players in the competition.

Probably more so another piece of stupid journalism. You know how it goes, when people are fishing for a story, they ask questions to get to the answer they wanted.
Harry is on board 100%. Anyway, we got the result against Uruguay so I think all understand.
