Neeskens To Barca. Arnold To Russia?
June 10th, 2006 | By: Matt | No Comments »
It has been confirmed that Johan Neeskens has taken up an assistant coaching role next to Frank Rijkaard at Barcelona. This obviously puts him out of the running to be the new Australian coach following Hiddinks departure. Furthermore, it appears fellow current Australian assistant coach Graham Arnold is likely to head to Russia to work alongside Hiddink, as the FFA seem adamant on appointing a foreign coach. Personally, I would have been quite happy for Neeskens and Arnold to take over the top job, but it appears that it wasn’t ment to be.
