Harry “Big Softie” Kewell

Some players like to proclaim their greatness. Other players talk about their toughness. Harry Kewell is one to celebrate his softness.

“I am just a big softie, really,” he said. “I just get injured all the time.”

Proclaiming yourself a softie might be great if you are a stuffed animal or an ice cream cone, but for Kewell to come out and say it is something you wouldn’t expect from a soccer player. Personally I think he made the statement as a desparate effort to win the hearts of ladies around the world who are under the foolish notion that sensitive men are attractive. With his dodgy hair, Kewell really has no shot with the ladies, even if he is a softie.
