Should Australia go for another of these high-paid, mercenary coaches who sticks around for the time it takes for the next big tournament to roll around? Or should they go for someone who will stick around for a long time and actually try to build a team and some consistency? 

Is consistency in coaching even necessary at the international level anymore? Is there any coach in Australia at the moment who has the skills and the reputation to handle the national job, seeing as they have to wield a big stick in order to get the overseas based players away from their club teams?</description>
