Crap!
February 2nd, 2009 | By: Pat | 1 Comment »
Brett Emerton has been ruled out for the rest of the season with crucial ligament damage after twisting his knee while playing for Blackburn against Middlesbrough over the weekend. The injury is so severe Emmo will board a plane for Oz to have immediate surgery.
With the energetic right winger injured, Mile Sterjovski would be the logical choice on the flank for the Socceroos.
Brett’s skills and never say die attitude will definitely be missed by both club and country. All the best, Emmo.
