Congratulations Italy

Italy have been crowned World Champs. Hoorah. Ive written a post about the match on my other site so I wont go into detail.
It was a decent game to watch, and the Italians are deserved champions. Perhaps the saddest thing now is that the World Cup is over for another four years, and football fans are deprived of any action for another month or so. Anyway, now that things have winded down I will be departing from this blog. Most of you will know by now about the new one I have kick started so if you want to keep discussing football issues and the game in Australia then head there. It has been a fun few months doing this blog, and who knows, I might be around in another 4 years to do it again.

I’ll keep checking back here every now and then but apart from that I’ve done my dash.

Well done to Italy, comiserations to France, and Adios.

Earlier I had promoted you, little johnny, to grade 2 primary school, but I can see you can’t handle it. You persist with the incorrect use of the word “your” e.g. “your not sharp enough to to try and stump me”. The word “your” refers to something that belongs to or relates to the person who is being spoken to, e.g.,

What’s your phone number?

The word “your” is the form of the possessive case of the personal pronoun “you”. You should have written either “you are” or “you’re”. Also the repetition of the word “to” in your comment is a sign of stuttering. I make you nervous, eh?

I teach kids exactly like you. Kids who think they know it all, boast and brag, but the reality is they know very, very little. They are bullies always saying something like “gonna kick your ass” - sound similar? Members of Mensa never brag. There’s no need. There’s a Spanish proverb that says :“Tell me what you brag about and I’ll tell you what you lack”.

Australia had no chance in hell of making it to the WC final so stop convincing yourself otherwise. Italy did not take Australia very seriously, you could tell and even when they were a man down Australia couldn’t even muster up a decent shot on goal…give me a break..this is not a WC team. A world cup team wins against all odds and at any cost. Your boy neill f**ked up and that’s why you lost, stop blaming Italy for your mediocrity. What more can i say than the italians are a bunch of dirty, cheating, diving pieces of crap. Always have been, always will be, until FIFA actually does something about it. Send off the scumbag cheats who dive and play for frees.
Cheating is part of italian life, from sport to politics. If you can cheat and win thats so be it. It sums up what they did in the world cup. The sad thing is italian supports actually think its ok to cheat your way through life. They should hang their heads in shame.
European and South American football has so much to offer, except the way they love to dive and roll around like they have been shot. FIFA and the refs have to come down on these cheats, their cheating coachs and cheating teams.
Anyone who was at the Australia v italy game will know they did not deserve to win. Who got the best player on the ground? Did someone say the italian goalkeeper? why you are correct. What does that tell you about game?
Australia wouldnt have got through to the final (my opinion) but they were playing good football, better than the italians anyway. Its just a shame that the best, fair, more sporting team on the day didnt get through. I can hold my head up high, being proud of the way the Australians played. And more than happy to say that i love to hate the italians. Cheating scum.
