95,000 For A Worthless Friendly

While some crowds at the World Cup wont come anywhere near 95,000, it is quite funny to see that in a country who supposedly has very little interest in football, we can attract that sort of crowd to a game in which there is nothing to play for. Our opposition isn’t even in the World Cup.
Is this the turnaround that the sport needs in this country? I hope so.

Thats totally untrue … socer is the most played sport in australia (i think any way) … plus who cares how many people watch a match … its the coaches who train players in U13, U15, U17, etc that destroy australias hopes in creating players .. craig foster talks a lot of crap at times but once he stated that in australia players that can dribble an entire team are called hogs and all this stuff, where as in eurpore there regarded as a god …. so just goes to show hiow far the coaches are here in australia
